Stir-Fry Kueh Tikus (short rice flour noodles) with Beef and Pickled Mustard Vegetables and Mushrooms is a home-style recipe and taste absolutely scrumptious. 


Ingredients and Preparation for 4

Prepare -
  • pickled mustard vegetables - 1 cup
  • fresh mushroom - 1/2 cup
  • straw mushroom - 1/2 cup
  • carrots - 3 small size - cut into thin strips
  • garlic - 5 cloves - thinly sliced
  • red chili - 3 pcs

Prepare -
  • beef steaks - 1 lb - thinly sliced









Prepare -
  • Kueh Tikus (short rice flour noodles) - 1 basket











Cooking Steps 

Begin, by saute garlic and chili in 5 tbs cooking oil in a large skillet in medium heat.
Add beef steaks and continue stirring and frying.
For flavor, add:-
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbs pork stock granules
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
Keep stirring and frying. Leave to simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat to tenderize the meat.


Add pickled mustard vegetables and carrots.

Combine well and continue stirring.
Add fresh mushrooms and straw mushrooms.

Combine well and continue stirring.
Add Kueh Tikus (short rice flour noodles).


Combine well and continue stirring.
Ready for serving.
