BLACK PEPPER BEEF STEAKS with KUEH TIKUS ©





Stir-fry Beef Steaks with Black Pepper and Brown Sauce is quite a common dish and can be found in most Chinese eating house. In this preparation, I incorporate rice flour noodles - Kueh Tikus into Black Pepper Beef Steaks with Brown Sauce, and with added greens - Kai Lan vegetables.


Ingredients and Preparation for 4

Prepare 1 lb beef slices.

Prepare slices of ginger, garlic, carrots, chilli, and mushroom (soak in water to soften), and Kai Lan vegetables.









Prepare Kueh Tikus (short rice flour noodles).














Cooking Steps 

Begin, by saute ginger, garlic, chilli in 5 tbs cooking oil in a large skillet in medium heat until fragrant.
Add beef slices, and stir-fry.
Add carrots and mushrooms.

For flavor, add:-

5 tbs oyster sauce, 2 tbs beef stock brand, 2 tbs seasoning sauce or light soya sauce, 1/2 tbs crushed black pepper beads, 1/2 tsp white pepper. Cover with top, and leave to simmer for 5 minutes to tenderize the meat.
Add Kueh Tikus (short rice flour noodles), and combine well with cooked ingredients. Add 2 cup water.
Add Kai Lan vegetables and combine well.
Black Pepper Beef Kueh Tikus nicely cooked and flavorsome.










Ready for serving.
